History Of The Frst Car/Automobile/Autocar/Motor Car

Posted by still alone

An automobile, autocar, motor car or car is a wheeled motor vehicle used for transporting passengers, which also carries its own engine or motor. Most definitions of the term specify that automobiles are designed to run primarily on roads, to have seating for one to eight people, to typically have four wheels, and to be constructed principally for the transport of people rather than goods.

The term motorcar has also been used in the context of electrified rail systems to denote a car which functions as a small locomotive but also provides space for passengers and baggage. These locomotive cars were often used on suburban routes by both interurban and intercity railroad systems.

There are approximately 600 million passenger cars worldwide (roughly one car per eleven people). Around the world, there were about 806 million cars and light trucks on the road in 2007; the engines of these burn over a billion cubic meters (260 billion US gallons) of petrol/gasoline and diesel fuel yearly. The numbers are increasing rapidly, especially in China and India.

2011 Brabus Mercedes-Benz 800 E V12 Cabriolet 2011

Posted by still alone

The 2011 BRABUS Mercedes-Benz 800 E V12 Cabriolet is a big and powerful Sports Car known for its stability at high speeds and powered by the twelve-cylinder engine mounted in the body of the open top Mercedes E-Class BRABUS. The BRABUS Mercedes 800 E V12 Cabriolet is considered as the fastest and most powerful four-seater cabriolet with a top speed of three hundred seventy (370) miles per hour. In building this car, advanced engineering techniques were employed to fit into the car’s engine compartment the 12-cylinder, 3-valve engine and its automatic five speed transmission.

ngine modifications were also made making the crankshaft longer and the pistons larger to match the increase in cylinder bore displacement from 5.5 to 6.3 liters. Much of the changes were done in the engine to maximize performance and at the same time keep the car operating at temperatures ideal for high speed driving. Even the tail pipes were redesigned to accommodate increase in the turbochargers’ capacity.

Only modern technology can create a great sports car like the BRABUS Mercedes Benz 800E Cabriolet. Carbon fiber parts were used to extend the fenders and accommodate the wider tires. The dashboard, center console and side trims were all replaced with carbon fiber to accommodate the modern amenities, gadgets and gauges like the 400 km speedometer, evidence of the larger speed capacity that the car can attain.

Singer Porsche 911 White 2011

Posted by still alone

The latest trend in sports car production is for shops to take classic car designs and turn them into modern versions by using the latest technology in engine and car body manufacturing. The 2011 Singer Porsche 911 White uses the pre-1994 Porsche 911 Coupes and transforms them into new creations loaded with modern features and amenities. The transformed cars are not registered as new cars but retain their licenses and Vehicle Identification Numbers.

The old cars are completely dismantled and blasted to bear metal treating all parts with rust prevention solutions. All body parts are inspected for structural defects and are reinforced by welding in preparation for the transformation works. Wipers are replaced with the centrally located units similar to those of the Porsche 993 series. The fenders and bumpers, hood and engine deck are replaced with new carbon fiber body parts to make the unit light and strongly fitted.

The car color is set as immaculately white accented only by the spoiler, lower rockers and rear valances which are made of flexible and heat resistant Urethane. The air cooled 3.6L engines are meticulously stripped, blue printed and reconstructed to provide more power and efficiency. The entire car interior is completely refurbished and the suspension, tire and break systems are all altered to conform to modern standards.
