History Of The Frst Car/Automobile/Autocar/Motor Car

Posted by still alone

An automobile, autocar, motor car or car is a wheeled motor vehicle used for transporting passengers, which also carries its own engine or motor. Most definitions of the term specify that automobiles are designed to run primarily on roads, to have seating for one to eight people, to typically have four wheels, and to be constructed principally for the transport of people rather than goods.

The term motorcar has also been used in the context of electrified rail systems to denote a car which functions as a small locomotive but also provides space for passengers and baggage. These locomotive cars were often used on suburban routes by both interurban and intercity railroad systems.

There are approximately 600 million passenger cars worldwide (roughly one car per eleven people). Around the world, there were about 806 million cars and light trucks on the road in 2007; the engines of these burn over a billion cubic meters (260 billion US gallons) of petrol/gasoline and diesel fuel yearly. The numbers are increasing rapidly, especially in China and India.

2011 Brabus Mercedes-Benz 800 E V12 Cabriolet 2011

Posted by still alone

The 2011 BRABUS Mercedes-Benz 800 E V12 Cabriolet is a big and powerful Sports Car known for its stability at high speeds and powered by the twelve-cylinder engine mounted in the body of the open top Mercedes E-Class BRABUS. The BRABUS Mercedes 800 E V12 Cabriolet is considered as the fastest and most powerful four-seater cabriolet with a top speed of three hundred seventy (370) miles per hour. In building this car, advanced engineering techniques were employed to fit into the car’s engine compartment the 12-cylinder, 3-valve engine and its automatic five speed transmission.

ngine modifications were also made making the crankshaft longer and the pistons larger to match the increase in cylinder bore displacement from 5.5 to 6.3 liters. Much of the changes were done in the engine to maximize performance and at the same time keep the car operating at temperatures ideal for high speed driving. Even the tail pipes were redesigned to accommodate increase in the turbochargers’ capacity.

Only modern technology can create a great sports car like the BRABUS Mercedes Benz 800E Cabriolet. Carbon fiber parts were used to extend the fenders and accommodate the wider tires. The dashboard, center console and side trims were all replaced with carbon fiber to accommodate the modern amenities, gadgets and gauges like the 400 km speedometer, evidence of the larger speed capacity that the car can attain.

Singer Porsche 911 White 2011

Posted by still alone

The latest trend in sports car production is for shops to take classic car designs and turn them into modern versions by using the latest technology in engine and car body manufacturing. The 2011 Singer Porsche 911 White uses the pre-1994 Porsche 911 Coupes and transforms them into new creations loaded with modern features and amenities. The transformed cars are not registered as new cars but retain their licenses and Vehicle Identification Numbers.

The old cars are completely dismantled and blasted to bear metal treating all parts with rust prevention solutions. All body parts are inspected for structural defects and are reinforced by welding in preparation for the transformation works. Wipers are replaced with the centrally located units similar to those of the Porsche 993 series. The fenders and bumpers, hood and engine deck are replaced with new carbon fiber body parts to make the unit light and strongly fitted.

The car color is set as immaculately white accented only by the spoiler, lower rockers and rear valances which are made of flexible and heat resistant Urethane. The air cooled 3.6L engines are meticulously stripped, blue printed and reconstructed to provide more power and efficiency. The entire car interior is completely refurbished and the suspension, tire and break systems are all altered to conform to modern standards.

Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 2012

Posted by still alone

Super cars and sports cars have already been all too familiar to us that upon hearing one, a spark of interest is seldom raised. Yes, many different companies such as Ferrari and Porsche are still on the top of the super cars and sports cars manufacturing chain but as insatiable human beings we are in a constant search for something better. This year, super cars and sports cars are a thing of the past as hyper cars enter the scene. You heard that right, hyper cars are the new show stopper. Lamborghini has recently launched yet another hyper car. The 2012 lamborghini Aventador LP-700-4.

Specifications
General Info
Vehicle Type: Coupe-Midsize
Est. Price: $379,700.00
Performance Engine: 6.5L V12
Horsepower: 700 HP
Transmission: 7-Speed Automatic-Manual
Maximum Seating: 2 people
0-60 mph: 2.9 seconds
Best Speed: 217 mph (349 km/h)

Performance

In terms of its performance, the company has already stated that the V12 engine will be the only thing to provide power into this hyper car but a newer, more legendary engine than the previous V12 engine. It now comes with AWD layout and 6.5 liter V12 engine which then produces 700 horsepower. This is the newest engine Lamborghini has made since they released the Countach.

It has a whopping 700 horsepower engine which can go from 0-62 mph in a matter of 2.9 seconds - faster than its predecessors and competitors which take about 3.6 seconds to reach that speed. The new Lamborghini Aventador LP-700 4 is the new attention grabbing, sleek model from Lamborghini that is sure to take the car industry by storm. This new model is named after the bull that entered a battle in 1993 in Saragossa Arena and earned the title of Trofeo de la Pena La Madronera due to its incomparable courage. Indeed, this new model will take the road with courage to go up and compete with the many super cars and sports cars already making a name in the industry.

Exterior & interior

The exterior of this model is designed with intricate aerodynamics calculations to make it move faster but retain handling and maneuverability. It has a 4-degree angle approach which is maximized on high speed and supports stability in moving in different directions upon reaching the top end of a spectrum. While the 11-degree tilts helps maximize stability and handling and at the same time carries on midrange speeds, significantly greater down force.

At the front part of this car, it gets better air guide further accentuated by frames that are glossy and black, and headlights that are bi-xenon made. These headlights spread starting from the middle and another set of LED lights operates the turn signals. Customers were happy to hear that they have options on the car’s exterior colors. There are 13 colors to choose from and different color effects such as pastel metallic, matte, and pearlescent.

Interior-wise, a hyper car cannot get more hi-tech than this. The new instrumentation gauges used in this model resembles those used on jet planes with LCD screens displaying instrumentations in your car while another independent system and LCD screen controls the navigation functions of this model and the stereo. The sleek leather material of the seats is made with a single color with contrasting stitching available in many different colors.

This car is the extreme when it comes to design, technology, performance and standards. Lamborghini is setting new highs in terms of standards and design in the industry of hyper cars.

1/4 Mile: 9.9 seconds
0-200 mph: 15.9 seconds
Est. Maximum Speed: 275 mph (442.4 kmh)

Performance

The exterior design looks like it comes out of Bruce Wayne’s or Tony Starks garage, but the car’s road power makes it a superhero in itself. The Hennessey Venom GT has for an engine a 6.2-liter LS9 twin-turbo V-8, similar to the engine on the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 one of the fastest production cars released. Airflow management was initially done on CAD. They used it to simulate airflow to improve the engine and body design.

The hood of the car cannot be accessed, although it contains two radiators with fans that help maintain the engine cool. Hennessey stresses the idea that the cooler the engine, the more horsepower you get. The car is offered in a mid-engine rear drive power-train with horsepower ranging from 725 to 1200. The drive train is provided by a Ricardo 6 speed transmission. The shifter is patterned after the Lotus, but upcoming models will see a switch to the Ford GT styled shifter.

Rumors abound that the Hennessey Venom GT has either tied or broken the record of the Bugatti Veyron Super Sports record of 267 mph. We have yet to hear from reliable sources to make the record official.

Exterior & Interior

The size of the Venom GT is smidge bigger than the Lotus Exige. The Hennessey Venom GT retains the Exige’s lightweight stylings. The carbon fiber material used on the Venom GT contributes to its lightweight physique. The math is easy: less weight is equivalent to better performance. Founder John Hennessey said that what he wanted to make was a car that all about performance, he didn’t want to worry about interior styling’s. Most of the cars weight is the engine. The Hennessey Venom GT was built from scratch putting in the best components from brains to brawn of American engineering.

The adjustable rear wing provides added aerodynamic performance when needed. The body is built to withstand force produced by vehicles that produce 1500 horsepower or more. The wheels are equipped with brake calipers made by Brembo which provide excellent traction control. Test drivers have commented that the chassis is rigid but firm, making the ride smooth and easy on the body. The smooth response of the Venom after making turns make the transition easy on both the vehicle and driver, it just helps prove it to be just as advertised, a supercar.

Currently, the new Venom GT has yet to be given permission to be driven on US streets and highways. Most of the testing and showing of this car have been across the pond in the UK.

The simplicity of the interior is just that, it contains the necessary instrumentation accessories to ride the Venom GT with confidence. The Venom has a built-in roll cage providing protection to both driver and passenger. Alcantara leather lines the inside of this supercar, from the panels, seating, and the steering wheel. Giving it a more than a muscle car look. It does have AC, AM/FM radio, and yes even a docking station for those with iPods. An added feature is the removable steering wheel to aid taller folks easier access getting in and out of the car.

The Competition

The Hennessey Venom GT has few peers, some try to come close but few do. During a “shoot-out” in 2007 to find out who reached the 200 mph barrier the fastest, the predecessor of this current Venom, the Hennessey Venom 1000 twin turbo found itself stacked up against the Bugatti Veyron 16.4, Lamborghini Murcielago, Corvette Lingenfelter, the Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren, and the Ruft RT12. Only four vehicles made the final attempt, and the Hennessey Venom 1000 had the best record at 20.3 seconds in reaching the 200 mph mark, followed by the Veyron at 24.2 seconds, then the Lingenfelter Corvette at 26.5 seconds, and finally the Ruft Rt12 at 35.5.

The 2011 Hennessey Venom GT with 725 horsepower is priced considerably less than the 1,200HP version. Total production of the car is limited to 29, with only 10 units made per year. For 2012, only 5 vehicles will be made, they require a lead time of six months to build one unit.

SSC Tuatara 2012

Posted by still alone

SSC Tuatara 2012 awaits the entry of the newest offering from Shelby Super Cars (SSC), the 2012 SSC Tuatara. This car is aimed to unseating the Bugatti Veyron SS as the fastest car in the world. Jerod Shelby, founder and CEO of SSC, unveiled the Tuatara in the presence of a few people from the industry. Jerod Shelby is not related to Carroll Shelby, the legend behind all those muscle cars. The name of this supercar is derived from the Maori language that describes a resident reptile from New Zealand, Tuatara, means “peaks at the back.”

Specifications

Vehicle Type: SuperCar
Base Price: $970,000.00
Engine: 7-liter quad cam, twin turbo V8
Horsepower: 1350 hp
Max RPM: 9000 rpm
Curb Weight: 2646 lbs (1200 kg)
Displacement: 7-liter
Aspiration: Turbo
0-60 mph: 2.8 seconds
Projected Maximum Speed: 275 mph (442 kmh) (Not yet tested!)

Shelby and his team of 16 engineers have put their skills together to produce a high performance production vehicle in the SSC Tuatara by highlighting this rear wheel drive, 1,350 horsepower speedster. SSC produced the Ultimate Aero that was able to topple the record established by the Bugatti Veyron. In 2007, the Ultimate Aero TT had a run of 256 mph on a four mile stretch of a Texas carriageway. The Volkswagen owned Bugatti, not to be denied, came back with the Veyron SS (Super Sport) and clocked a record 267 mph.

With the Tuatara, Shelby SuperCars intends to reclaim that distinction of being the fastest car in the world, by aiming for a record setting 275 mph.

Performance

As for the engine, Jerod Shelby’s team of engineers has come up with a rear wheel drive, quad cam (four valves per cylinder OHC), twin turbo V8 engine. This 7 Liter engine produces 1350 HP and revs up to 9000 rpm.

Braking is aided by traction control, ABS with servo assistance, and the use of carbon ceramic brakes by Brembo. It comes in at 2646 lbs (1200 kgs) curb weight, which puts it at 1407 lbs(638 kgs) lighter than the Veyron. Little, if any, change has been done on the suspension in which SSC keeps the coil over setup intact along with the triple plate carbon clutch mechanism.

Expectations are high on this new SSC Tuatara, with all those horses; zero to sixty mph should come in under 2.8 seconds. It has been claimed that its top speed will be at 275 mph, hang on to your seats for the final results.

Exterior

The body design of the Tuatara was rendered by Jason Castriota, an Italian-American designer who has been instrumental in creating some of the best looking cars in the world. Among his creations include the best in the industry, Bertone, Ferrari, Rolls Royce, and Pininfarina. Castriota was unsure whether he wanted to take on the challenge presented to him by Jerod Shelby in designing this latest from SSC.

When he did take up the challenge, the result has become the ideal in combining form and function. The black teardrop shaped canopy splashed amid the white body provides a contrast in style and power. The classic shape allows it for a minimum of drag. Dihedral stabilizers (wings) add to the Tuatara’s performance and look. The winglets located in the rear not only improve aerodynamics, but also keeps the car together as it speeds up to 200 miles per hour.

Body and chassis are made of carbon fiber, except for those impact areas in the front and rear of the Tuatara. It also has oval cut outs in varying sizes that help release heat produced by the engine through the body. The Tuatara features an F-1 looking exhaust that functions as a diffuser in the rear. When looking down at this low slung supercar, the Tuatara can seem intimidating.

Interior

No one really knows what to expect what the interior of the Tuatara will look like. The total interior design has not been completed. It will have the necessary features in driving a two seater, such as the seatbelts and auto air-conditioner.

Speculation has it that the inside of the Tuatara will live up to its reputation in addition to providing easy viewing and access LCD central displays.

The Competition

There is little competition in this area of supercars. The SSC Tuatara is expected to be priced at $970,000, while the Bugatti Veyron SS rings the bell at $2.4 million. If you have extra to spend, the other potential alternative is the Koenigsegg Agera, $1.5 million.

Whichever way you go, you have an international choice at your disposal; the SSC Tuatara from the USA, Bugatti Veyron SS from Germany, and the Swedish Koenigsegg Agera. Whether you’re looking for a showroom vehicle or one for the racetrack, chances are the Tuatara will push its competitors once again to the limits, watch for this fastest evolving DNA creation from SSC.

8. Gumpert Apollo: 224 mph, 0-60 in 3.0 secs, 4.2 liter V8 Engine that houses 650 hp. Base price: $450,000. Gumpert claims that the Apollo was designed such that it could drive upside-down in a tunnel with speeds at 190 mph or above. Of course, no one has tested this yet.

9. Noble M600: 223 mph, 0-60 in 3.7 secs. Twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 Engine with 650 hp. Base price is $330,000. The Noble M600 also happens to be a very cool car. Its inconspicuous design sports a slender and contoured body which does not scream out for attention at every second of the day.

We have a tie for 9th and 10th places:

10. Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster: 217 mph, 0-60 in 3.4 secs. Twin turbocharged AMG V12 engine that produces 678 hp. Base price is $1,850,000. The Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster is a limited-edition, with five ever produced. It is the quintessential exotic and exclusive supercar.

Top 10 List Most Expensive Cars In The World 2011-2012

Posted by still alone

1. Bugatti Veyron Super Sports $2,400,000. This is by far the most expensive street legal car available on the market today (the base Veyron costs $1,700,000). It is the fastest accelerating car reaching 0-60 in 2.5 seconds. It is also the fastest street legal car when tested again on July 10, 2010 with the 2010 Super Sport Version reaching a top speed of 267 mph. When competing against the Bugatti Veyron, you better be prepared!

2. Pagani Zonda Clinque Roadster $1,850,000. One of the most exotic cars out there is one of the most expensive. It can go from 0-60 in 3.4 seconds with a top speed of 217 mph.

3. Lamborghini Reventon $1,600,000. The most powerful and the most expensive Lamborghini ever built is the third on the list. It takes 3.3 seconds to reach 60 mph and it has a top speed of 211 mph. Its rarity (limited to 20) and slick design are the reasons why it is so expensive and costly to own.

4. Koenigsegg Agera R $1,600,000. The Agera R can burn 0-60 in 2.8 seconds, reaching a maximum speed of 260 mph. 25 Prophets Names That We Should Know

Posted by still alone

Important 25 prophets name in Islam?- Since the beginning of time Allah communicated His message to the people of the earth through prophets and messengers to whom He revealed to (waḥy) through the intermediary of the angel Jibrā`īl so that they may convey His message and guide the people to Him and to teach them how to walk the path of righteousness. Every prophet came with the same message, which was to proclaim and call their people to accepting the oneness of Allah.

Allah states in the Holy Qur`ān,

"We did not send any messenger before you except with the inspiration (waḥy): "There is no god except Me; you shall worship Me alone!."[1]

It is our belief that Allah has sent a prophet to every nation and not necessarily to every generation. Allah has mentioned in the Qur'an,

"Indeed, we sent in every community a messenger… "[2]

"There was not any community except a warner lived among them." [3]

As for the exact number of prophets the Prophet (ṣaw) was asked by Abu Dharr (ra), "O Messenger of Allah! What was the total number of prophets?" the Prophet (ṣaw) replied, "124,000 and from amongst them 315 messengers"[4]

The difference between a prophet and a messenger, is that a messenger is a prophet to whom Allah reveals a new book or law, and orders them to propagate their new law. Whereas a prophet would merely upholds the law and scriptures of previous messengers. Therefore all messengers are prophets but not all prophets are messengers.

We have only 25 prophets and messengers who are mentioned in the Qur'an by name. About other prophets and messengers Allah said, "We have told you the story of some Messengers and of others We have not …" (al-Nisa' 4;164)
